Julie Chen Moonves hopes to participate in “Big Brother 28”

Big brother 28 host Julie Chen Moonves has a dream for the thousandth episode of the reality competition series, namely to participate in the iconic Wall competition. There have been a lot of rumors about that Big brother 28 will have returning guestsbut nothing has been confirmed yet. All fans know so far is that Julie will definitely return as host, a role she has played on the show since it premiered on July 5, 2000.

The Wall first appeared in Big brother 10 in 2008, and since then it has become one of the most grueling endurance events for competitors. Guests must stand on a small platform on a wall, which occasionally tilts forward, while being drenched in liquids, hit by objects and more. It is one of the most stressful Big brother competitions, and every year fans look forward to seeing what variations there will be. The first winner of the Wall competition was April Dowling Big brother 10while last year, in Big brother 27eventual runner-up Vince Panaro emerged victorious.

Julie has been part of some of Big Brother’s matches beforehand. She appeared in a video highlighting her fashion for a Big brother 25 Head of Household (HOH) competition, and the guests had to save her in one of the first Big brother 27 games of the season. Julie also previews the BB Blockbuster games on Instagram by trying them out herself. However, for Big brother 28she wants to do even more by competing on the Wall.

In an interview with TV insiderJulie revealed that she wants to participate in the Wall competition, which aims to last 1,000 seconds (16 minutes and 40 seconds) in honor of the show’s 1,000th episode, which airs this season. She said: “Only God knows if I can do it and if the Powers That Be at Big Brother and CBS will say yes to my unexpected idea! Pray they say yes and pray I make it!”

Julie also said she would love it compete in one Big brother season in the futureand would like her teenage son to be her fellow guest. She explained, “He’s more athletic than me, smarter than me, and funnier than me. As his mother, I would protect him like the greatest mama bear the world has ever seen… or should I? I mean, it’s a game at the end of the day, and everyone is everyone else’s competition! It would be fun to see, that’s for sure. Even for me to face those questions.”

Julie gave birth to her son Charlie on September 24, 2009. He is her only child with her husband, former CBS chairman Les Moonves. Charlie is now 16 years old.

Julie hosted Big brother since 2000, and fans have always speculated about how she would fare as a houseguest. In her more than 25 years as host, she’s seen it all: every strategy, every mistake, and every legendary move that led to the guests winning the game. It would be exciting to see her play the game and apply all her knowledge.
