Almost every American and British outlet is now saying that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex I will travel to UK next monthAnd they will bring their two children. The Sussexes’ team has not (yet) denied this, nor has RAVEC made any public statement guaranteeing the safety of the Sussex family. But… I think it’s really happening. I think Harry has really got a personal reassurance of safety for his family, and I also believe King Charles is continuing to take some interesting steps with respect to Harry. Just last month, Mel was an interesting piece About Theo Rycroft, Charles’s new deputy private secretary, who basically has a big “plan” to normalize the Windsors’ relations with the Sussexes. Peace in our times!! However, the royals don’t want to hear it — they believe it’s in their best interests to make Prince William look like a childish rage monster, King Charles look like a terrible father and grandfather, and the institution look like it’s deeply racist and out of touch. to bear Meghan and her children for a few days. Speaking, Jenny Bond cried:
The Sussexes will travel from Montecito, California, to attend a one-year countdown party for Prince Harry’s charitable initiative for wounded soldiers. But royal expert Jenny Bond told The Sun that the decision represents “an extraordinary turn of events” and “the big question now is whether the King will see them”.
“Now I can’t believe he wouldn’t do that. It would be absolutely scandalous if the King couldn’t find time in his diary to see his grandchildren, whom he hasn’t seen for four years. Should they all be able to meet, it would be interesting to see if it would help defuse any family feuds.”
The Sun reported in January that the Duchess, 44, was planning to visit Britain for the first time in four years this summer. And while Bond says she thinks it’s possible Her Majesty will see her grandchildren, she adds, “The question is whether Charles will see Meghan”.
She said: “We know the pair got on very well, he offered to walk her halfway down the aisle on her wedding day, and they share similar interests in literature and music. So it’s not that he doesn’t get on with Meghan, but some of the things he has done have made things quite stressful. The King will be careful how he acts to avoid upsetting his other son William.”
Relations between the royal family and Harry have been strained since Harry and Meghan left royal duties and moved to California in 2020. And experts have described his potential withdrawal as an act of desperation and said Prince William would be “furious” at the decision. Bond added: “At the end of the day, I think it’s a parent’s job to be the bigger person and to forgive, and I think, and hopefully, that’s what we’ll see Charles do next month. If not, it’s going to be a completely different story than a joyous reunion.”
Bond added that “Most sane people would like to see an old king reunited with his estranged son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.
“Those little children deserve to learn more about their amazing heritage and be reunited with their families,” she said. “It will be heartbreaking for the King not to see his grandchildren, the King is a sentimental old thing, but the return of the Sussexes creates problems that will need to be managed.”
(from the sun)
it bothers me: “The question is whether Charles will see Meghan.” If Charles and his courtiers really believe that he can “submit” to Archie and Lily without seeing or acknowledging his daughter-in-law, then Charles is indeed a rotten old man. And by the way, Meghan hasn’t said anything to or about these people in four years. The royals are still *traumatized* after a Black woman spoke out about her experiences living inside a racist institution. Anyway, as I said, I believe the Sussexes are touring, and I believe there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. But these royal people and royal journalists need to watch their mouths.
