The second case, which resulted in Lee’s arrest, concerns 74,817.50 dirhams (£15,000) that he allegedly owed a UAE law firm, presumably unpaid legal fees. Due to Lee’s debt, he must be reported to Dubai CID (Criminal Investigation Department) – but he is not an “actively wanted” person.
Now, he has two weeks to get the £69,000, otherwise he could be arrested again and sent to jail, it is reported.
