There was such excited buzz around the royal beat yesterday as every royal reporter tried to confirm the news that the entire Sussex family will be traveling to the UK next month. I still don’t know if this is actually happening or not, but perhaps we have to read the tea leaves on this one, and the absence of denial from Camp Sussex is arguably a confirmation that the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will all be visiting the UK for the first time after 2022. Prince Harry has made no secret of his desire to bring his children to spend time with their grandfather, and this is just that. Anyway, discussion. These people are falling over themselves with joy that they get a chance to dive head first into discrediting Harry and Meghan. They are all taking this July trip as a platform to abuse the Sussexes like the good old days.
Experts say Meghan Markle’s return to Britain is a move of desperation, while Prince William will be angry. The Duchess of Sussex is expected to travel to Britain with Prince Harry and their two children in a matter of weeks, which could be a “dangerous moment” for the royal family. The Sussexes will travel from Montecito, California, for Harry’s one-year countdown party for the Invictus Games, their signature charitable initiative for wounded soldiers.
But speaking to Brontë Coy on The Sun’s royal exclusive, TV host Mark Dolan cast doubt on their intentions and said it was a clear message that they “want to come back into the royal fold”.
He added: “I mean, this is something Harry could have jumped on Zoom and said, OK, guys, there’s still a year to go. Good luck, let’s go for it. Why are they all coming for that burger that’s nothing? I believe it’s an act of desperation. Meghan isn’t ashamed.”
Dolan explained his reasoning, saying that the couple’s “business ventures are struggling” and so they wanted to “reconcile with the royal credentials”. He continued to say that Meghan is “indecisive across the board” and that the move shows “she needs to be a part of the royal family again”.
“They need the optics, they need the titles, they need the status, they need the exaltation that gives them because at this point, we’ve seen Meghan’s popularity in the United States fall,” he said. “So it’s a great moment for them and a terrible blow for Team Wales. Prince William will be furious”.
Coy asked Tom Sykes, the Daily Beast’s European editor, if there was any possibility that tensions could be put aside and “all the kids could get along”. But he described the comments as “incredibly selfish” and did not think the visit would help improve relations.
“The idea that this is some random cause of suffering for them is actually a manipulation of the sequence of what happened,” he said. “I have been told very clearly by William and Catherine’s friends that they absolutely hate them. They completely blame Meghan for what happened.”
Dolan also warned that Harry and Meghan’s return could be a “dangerous moment” for the royal family. He said: “It’s an existential moment, because with Harry and Meghan back in the royal family, as you say, with the king’s astute blessing, we have more material for Spare Two. This time it’s personal, the follow-up book. More material for the second season of the Harry and Meghan documentary on Netflix. More material for Meghan’s upcoming memoir, Meghan, My Story. They’re feeding the monster.”
(from the sun)
Tom Sykes: “I have been told very clearly by William and Catherine’s friends that they absolutely hate them. They completely blame Meghan for what happened.” Virtually no one suggested that Harry wanted to meet William, or that anyone wanted the cousins to live together. Harry’s statements have always been about seeing their father and bringing the children to see Charles. That’s it. And that’s why William and his cronies are screaming bloody murder and attacking the walls. Keep in mind that William will soon be 44, and he’s still playing these childish games “Meghan has coots, I hate her so much!”
Anyway, when I read all these excited outrage-propaganda, it seemed to me that all these royalists were afraid that their disgusting prophecies were going to blow up in their faces once again. Just like Australia, just like Nigeria, just like Canada and Germany and Colombia. Like all of Harry’s solo visits to the UK, where genuine people are always happy to see him.
