Jason Sudeikis is reportedly boiling over Olivia Wilde‘s latest candid responses!
Earlier this week, the film director opened up about her love life in an honest conversation Call her daddy – which covers everything from the challenges of dating Harry Styles to what the last drop in her romance with Jason was! And it is the latter that does not fit well with the Ted Lasso star.
A source said Rob Sluiter‘S Naughty but nice Substack on Thursday:
“Jason is incredibly private and was shocked to see this story resurface years later. His first thought was their children. One day they will read these interviews, and that will hurt the most.”
Phew.

The couple shares two children, Otis12, and Daisy9. We completely understand how difficult it is to raise children in the public eye and we have to worry about what they will read one day when they get older. And yet… if she’s telling the truth, then she clearly thought about it and made the decision they deserve to ultimately know why their parents split, right?
In the podcast, Olivia claimed she realized the relationship was over after leaving a birthday party and pointed out that Jason hadn’t given her anything. His response?
“What would I have for you, Olivia? I don’t even know you.”
Cheeky.
But another insider said their friends believe the entire story lacked the necessary context:
“The story makes it sound like Jason simply ended the relationship. People close to them remember a much more complicated situation.”
Sources also pointed out that the actress connected with it Harry Styles shortly after the split – something that made their separation much more prominent than it originally was. AKA, they’re trying to put all the blame on Olivia! Another insider said:
“Jason and those close to him feel like the real story is being overlooked. From their perspective, everything changed when Olivia fell in love with Harry.”
But regardless of the past drama, Jason would probably just want to focus on co-parenting and move past this:
“Jason has spent years rebuilding his life. He doesn’t understand why old wounds need to be reopened when everyone involved is trying to move on.”
It must suck to relive the breakup. But she can speak her truth and he can control his response to it. He doesn’t have to concentrate on it, right? Nobody makes it!
