Dorit Kemsley responded to Boy George‘s Instagram posts against her after she was confronted about the digs on Wednesday.

After the 63-year-old musician branded her “disgusting” for sharing a joke with absent parents on Father’s Day and mentioned her spending habits in a series of posts, the 49-year-old said Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star responded to what Boy George had to say about her, brushed off his shade as nothing more than petty drama and suggested her post wasn’t about her Paul “PK” Kemsley58.

“Who said it was a PK post? Did George say that?” Dorit asked TMZ on June 24. She then explained that “George has a flair for the dramatic.”

During her chat with TMZ, Dorit was also asked how the two were doing.

“Which two?” she wondered.

On Father’s Day, in a video shared to her Instagram Story, Dorit seemed to be in the shadows her estranged husband’s parenting, or lack thereof.

“I don’t care who gets offended, I’ll say it anyway,” began her post, which came from a social media account focused on “life after domestic violence.” “A man who allows the mother of his child to struggle is a complete failure. There is nothing respectable about watching the woman raise your child carry it all alone, with no real support. When she is overwhelmed, stressed, and exhausted, your child quietly absorbs that same pressure every day. A real man does not sit back while the mother of his child breaks down and still takes on both roles alone. Responsibility defines a man more than words ever will, because actions reveal who he really is.”

“Leadership is not control. If she does everything while you do nothing, that is not strength. That is neglect in its clearest form,” it also said.

A short time later, Boy George wrote on his own Instagram Story: “This post on Father’s Day? Absolutely disgusting!”

Him then put a strain on Dorit’s spending in an additional post, telling her, “Rome burned while you were buying handbags,” seemingly blaming her for the financial struggles she is currently facing.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 16 is expected to begin filming sometime in the coming months.
