As rumors about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding continue to circulate, New York Mayor Zohran Mandani is addressing speculation that the couple will exchange vows at Madison Square Garden.
While appearing on ABC’s The week, Mamdani did not confirm or deny whether the couple was getting married at the iconic location. However, he talked about another location in the city that is perfect for a wedding ceremony.
“You know, what I’m here to say is that whoever gets married in New York City, I think it’s hard to beat the city clerk’s office,” he said. “But many will try, and there will be more news soon.”
“Is anyone getting married at Madison Square Garden on July 3?” asked the show’s host, Jonathan Karl. “Someone famous?”
To which Mamdani asked, “Did you hear that? I think they’re calling me now.”
According to one Polymarkt surveythere is an 89% chance that Swift and Kelce will get married in Manhattan.
Rumors of the couple’s wedding at Madison Square Garden began circulating earlier this month. However, this was revealed by a source reportedly close to the preparation of the event We weekly that even the guests don’t know where it will take place.
