West End actor was thrown out of the villa after a brutal challenge
A Love Island star has broken his silence After being forced to leave the villa.
Last night’s (June 12) episode Left fans were shocked like this Ope Sowande And Victoria Onanussi was sent packing after a heated game of Truth or Dare.
Before the brutal dumping, the islanders were asked to gather around a fire pit for a challenge. This involved them taking turns choosing a question from a mystery box and reading it to the group.
One of the harder cards asked couples to rank themselves from strongest to weakest in terms of their relationship.
This sparked a debate when Ope and Victoria were voted as the least connected couple, with Ope arguing that Sam Workman and Namibia Rosa had less spark.
But the West End performer didn’t fail to move up from last place. Tension escalated when the villa received an unexpected message announcing that Victoria and Ope had been eliminated from the show due to their co-stars’ ranking.
Ope was seen unable to control her tears as she packed her luggage. The veteran artist has now addressed his exit, admitting he was “devastated” to say goodbye to the villa.
Speaking on her Instagram Story, she said, “Yo, your boy is back! love island Season 13 is done. I walked away disappointed, however, it was definitely my time. I appreciate all the love, all the support I am getting.”
He added, “Much love, guys. There’s a lot more to come, you’re going to see a lot more of me. Best experience I’ve ever had, so thank you so much.”
The reality star will be featured on Love Island: After Sun this Sunday (June 14) and on the Love Island: The Debrief podcast on Tuesday (April 16), where he will be speaking about his time on the show.
Although he believes his departure came at the right time, ITV viewers are rallying for Opie’s return. One fan on X (formerly Twitter) said: “Oppe was pure entertainment, now I want him back #loveislanduk.”
Someone else agreed: “Bring Ope back to the casa oh god so entertaining #loveislanduk,” while a third said: “Ope no… what a guy #loveislanduk.”
