It’s official! James Kennedy expecting her first child.
A little over a month after claimed rumours the 34-year-old Vanderpump rules alum had had his share then unidentified boyfriend pregnant, James has confirmed the news and revealed that he and his girlfriend of eight months, from North Carolina Jordan Meyers23, soon to be parents.
“We are delighted to announce that Jordan and I are expecting our first child together,” James confirmed PEOPLE on June 11. “We’ve kept our relationship out of the public eye in the past and this is the first time we’re sharing it publicly. We wanted to keep things private while building our relationship together, and we’ve been sharing this news privately with close friends and family for some time now.”
“As we prepare for this next chapter, it felt like the right time to share it more widely. This is an incredibly special and meaningful time for us, and we feel deeply grateful to enter this new chapter surrounded by the love and support of our family and friends,” he continued. “It’s been a grounding and exciting part of our lives, and we look forward to everything ahead. As we prepare to welcome our baby, we’re focused on embracing all the joy, growth, and change that comes with parenthood.”
According to Jordan, who is four months into her pregnancy, she and James had a “strong spark” immediately.

“We connected on Instagram and then met in person at one of his shows. I’m from North Carolina so I visited James for what was supposed to be ‘three days’ which has now turned into eight months together,” she revealed. “Watching our love grow and preparing to become parents together has been the most incredible experience.”
“I’m so excited for all the beautiful memories to come – we’re already so in love with our little one!” Jordan added.
Before his romance with Jordan, fans of Pump rules so James dated Christian Doute43, Rachel “Raquel” Leviss31 and Ally Lewber30, in the show. After the series ended, and in the midst of his three-year relationship with Ally, James was arrested for domestic violence. And while no charges were ever brought against him, he and Ally quit soon after.
As fans may have seen, Ally addressed James’ baby news during an interview last month.
“We know he’s moving fast and he always wanted to be a dad. It was always a thing with us. He was so ready for all that stuff yesterday and I’m still not ready. We haven’t talked so I just hope he’s happy and healthy and I wish them the best,” Ally shared Tudum of Netflix.
In addition to focusing on his sobriety and DJ career in recent months, James has turned to charity work with organizations such as Midnight Mission, Vanderpump Dogs, Pups Without Borders, homeless shelters and recovery centers.
