Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelceare rumored to be married at Madison Square Garden in early July, nearly a year after their engagement.
While the couple have yet to officially confirm the reports of their wedding venue, it is said that business owners in the area are already dreading the day and what such a massive event could mean for them.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift recently set tongues wagging after performing at MSG for the NBA Finals, where the Knicks pulled off a historic 29-point comeback win against the Spurs.

Swift and Kelce’s upcoming nuptials are sure to be the talk of the town in July, with the couple expected to tie the knot in New York City.
However, according to TMZsome business owners around Madison Square Garden are not too thrilled with the news of such a long-awaited ceremony taking place in the area.
The frustration for the establishments, mostly restaurants and bars, seems to stem from the lack of information about the event, especially when it comes to security-related issues that may arise due to the wedding.
Some business owners who spoke to the news outlet said the event could be a “disaster” for them if it resembles the recent lockdown New Yorkers experienced during President Donald Trump’s attendance at the Knicks’ July 3 game.
News of the couple’s MSG wedding has left business owners ‘annoyed’ and some even seeking ‘compensation’

Several entrepreneurs expressed frustration over the upcoming wedding, with one owner of a small business on West 31st Street saying he didn’t expect Swifties, fans of the pop star, to patronize him on his wedding day, unlike regular NBA fans who usually go to his place to play, despite tight security.
Another business owner on West 33rd Street admitted the MSG wedding rumors made him feel “super annoyed” since many people will likely avoid the area on what would be a holiday weekend during the ongoing World Cup.
This particular person then suggested that Swift and Kelce should “compensate” business owners around the garden for the inconvenience that may occur as a result of their wedding ceremony.
Another small business owner, in the chat with TMZjoked that Swift and Kelce should consider having their wedding somewhere other than MSG.
Unfortunately, such a move so close to the wedding is likely impossible, as Swift is said to have rented out the garden for three days, paying the sale price for the venue, which normally costs around $1 million per night.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s MSG wedding venue could be a ‘distraction,’ sources claim

While some top outlets are confident Swift will marry Kelce at MSG on July 3, a new report claims the venue leak is part of a plot to distract people from the more intimate and small ceremony that will take place away from the 20,000-seat arena.
According to sources who have spoken to Daily MailSwift and Kelce’s wedding likely won’t be held at the Garden, but the venue will still play a big role as part of their planned festivities.
“Taylor’s official wedding will not have 1,000 guests,” an insider told the news outlet. “A private and very secure ceremony is planned for her immediate family and friends.”
They continued: “Guests at the wider party have been encouraged to donate gifts to charity, but her actual wedding will be a small, intimate gathering. There is something (else) associated with MSG.”
Top Notch ‘Security Screening’ of Wedding Guests at MSG

Another insider shared that Swift and Kelce’s guests will arrive at Madison Square Garden for the ceremony before being taken elsewhere after a security clearance.
“QR codes will be sent to guests,” the second source said. “The only instructions they have are to arrive at MSG on July 3rd. The codes haven’t gone out yet.”
“A lot of guests think this might be a security screening to (then) go elsewhere because MSG is equipped for that with their facial recognition etc. But something involving the wedding is set there,” the source added, suggesting the venue would serve a larger purpose.
The tight security measures come as no surprise, as Swift herself has reportedly ditched sending out traditional invitations in hopes of keeping her wedding plans as secret as possible.
The singer reportedly had to call her loved ones instead to inform them of their big day, while still withholding the exact wedding location.
Taylor Swift headlined MSG for the New York Knicks

Away from all the wedding planning, Swift made a surprise appearance at Madison Square Garden for the NBA Finals.
The singer, mostly with friends and no fiance in sight, caused a stir as usual as he cheered on the New York Knicks in their face-off against the San Antonio Spurs.
Swift rocked a blue top that read “Stevie Knicks,” a nod to rock music legend Stevie Nicks, with her longtime friends, Alana and Este Haim, matching her energy by wearing equally chic shirts with the words “Knickleback” and “Knickole Kidman” emblazoned boldly on them.
While Kelce was absent, reportedly due to a commitment he had with his NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs, the football star made up for it by supporting his fiancee at her Songwriters Hall of Fame induction event in New York.
