Harriet Spurling wore Beulah London at Ascot Day 5: surprisingly good?

Here are some photos from the last two days of Royal Ascot – Friday was day four, and Saturday was day five. Obviously, Friday was extremely hot, and as you can see in the photos, King Charles looked like he was completely melting in his morning suit. Queen Camilla wore turquoise on the fourth day and “royal blue” on the fifth. They looked like her usual, useless housedress and coatdress. However, to her credit, Camila always clears out some major jewelry for these events. On day four, Camilla wore Queen Mary’s diamond and turquoise brooch, which I don’t think much of. Although I’m not a big fan of turquoise in general. On Day 5, Camilla wore Prince Albert’s sapphire brooch, which was truly a stunning piece.

Meanwhile, Peter Phillips and his bride Harriet Spurling were seen once again at Ascot on Day 5. People here are really crazy about Harriet’s look – she wore a lacy Beulah London dress and remember, the founder of Beulah London came to Harriet’s wedding. is the founder Also married to Rupert Finch, former Princess of Wales. This dress from Beulah London retails for $1,570, and I have to imagine that Harriet is being given free gifts at this point. There’s no way she could buy this “Kate Light” wardrobe on a nurse’s salary, and Lord knows, Peter doesn’t have that much money. What else? Harriet carried a Stow London bag and wore a Jane Taylor hat.

One of the most interesting things about Harriet wearing all this These are the “Kate-inspired” outfits Has Kate finally fallen prey to copycats, after years of obsessively tracking everything Diana wore and everything Meghan wore? And I’m sure Kate absolutely hates copying, and not just because… Harriet is really doing it better. Harriet’s look and body look better on these clothes. Kate would look like a beautiful girl in this dress.

Bonus: Zara Tindall in a custom Claire Mischevani dress with giant polka dots. Ugh.
