They are even happier with that Andy Cohen shares details about his new friend with the world. Although the romance is new and exciting, it is not his first. So let’s take a look at who he’s seeing now and look back at who he’s dated in the past.
Andy Cohen goes public with Kevin Sobieski
After years of being asked the same questions about his love life and boyfriends, Andy Cohen has an answer for fans that will make everyone happy. The Watch what’s happening live The host has confirmed that he is in a relationship, and says he is in love.
Cohen made it official on the June 8 episode of his SiriusXM show Andy Cohen Live. During the episode, he told listeners that he had finally “met the person.” Cohen’s new love is Kevin Sobieski, a businessman who works at a leading private equity firm. While the romance is new to fans, it’s apparently not new to Cohen. He revealed that Sobieski is getting along well his children. He also dropped the L-word. Apparently, things privately progressed for a while, with Cohen revealing that he met his new love almost a year ago at a friend’s Fourth of July party in the Hamptons. Things took off after Cohen gave Sobieski his number.
While Cohen made things official with the announcement on June 8, things went public just days earlier. On June 2, Cohen was photographed holding hands with Sobieski as they left his 58th birthday dinner at Via Carota restaurant in the West Village. Although Sobieski was first considered a “mystery man,” it didn’t take long for fans to learn his name, his job, and his past romances.
Who has he dated before
Andy Cohen has made an entire career out of gossip, innuendo and… airing other people’s dirty laundry. Still, he keeps things pretty low-key when it comes to his own love life. Cohen insists this is because much of the time there isn’t much to say. In a 2023 episode of Not skinny but not fatCohen revealed that he hasn’t had many long-term romances. Without a long-term commitment, there is less room for drama, it seems.
Yet he has dated people in public. In 2013, he started dating a man named Clifton Dassuncao. The romance lasted about five years. The relationship was largely private at Dassuncao’s request, although this was later revealed in the media. Years earlier, he dated his Radio Andy co-star John Hill. The romance lasted two years and ended more than twenty years ago.
The couple remained close regardless of the end of the romance. Hill once explained what was going on. He said: “We have grown apart in terms of cronyism.” Little is known about the men he has had relationships with between 2018 and the present. Still, if Cohen is so open about Sobieski, we can assume he thinks this is the real deal.
