Andy Cohen promised to ask Amanda Batula if she has taken medication before Summer house meeting. In the meantime, Lindsay Hubbard teased her one-on-one with Amanda next week bonus episode: “I was strict.”
At the recent reunionAndy asked WestWilson (amid his controversial romance with Amanda) when he was on beta blockers as he seemed to have no emotions as his close friend Jesse Solomon cried. Many fans wondered why Andy didn’t ask the same question to Amanda, who also seemed unusually deadpan.
After the reunion, Bravo revealed that Lindsay and Amanda filmed a one-on-one for a bonus episode, delving deeper into her relationship with West.
On SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen livea fan called to ask Andy why he didn’t also wonder at the reunion if Amanda was on beta blockers.
“I know everyone is asking how you asked West, like about the medication or whatever. I think what we really need to ask is why he didn’t ask Amanda when she was the one who could barely keep her eyes open or was eager to raise an octave,” the caller said. “She was clearly on something.”
Andy responded on Wednesday: “I’ll ask her at the In the City reunion, which we’re filming tomorrow,” Andy said. “Yes, absolutely. Promise.”
Later in the episode, Andy called Lindsay to get tea for the upcoming bonus episode, where she filmed a one-on-one with Amanda. Andy asked if Lindsay could shed more light on Western romance.
“I will say I was very proud of myself. I didn’t get activated. I didn’t raise my voice. I wasn’t angry,” Lindsay said. “But I was strict. And I think it was a little bit of both. I still had a lot of questions left from the reunion that I wanted answered and then I also had some messages for Amanda that I wanted to follow through.”
“I think when a girl is going through something, she needs a tough guy friend. And I tried to cross the line a little bit as a big sister,” she continued.
Lindsay later told Andy, “Don’t be mad at me,” seemingly referring to her past claim that they had learned nothing at the reunion.
“I’m not angry,” he said. “What are you talking about? I’m not mad at you. You did the Lord’s work. It’s teamwork that makes the dream work.”
“I was just saying what we were all thinking,” Lindsay replied.
