Signs that Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll’s breakup isn’t the drama haters think

According to social media, the divorce of country star Jelly Roll and his wife Bunnie Xo is turning into a major drama behind the scenes, but that theory seems far off base. The country star filed for divorce from Bunnie in May 2026, about a month earlier TMZ dug up their legal papers. During that time, the famous couple successfully dodged speculation until the news broke, suggesting they would keep things under the radar for as long as reasonably possible. Another major sign that Jelly and Bunnie are not on their way an ugly showbiz divorce is that they still seem to have relatively good conditions.

Although Jelly Roll has publicly distanced himself from Bunnie Xo by removing her username from his Instagram biothey are clearly still in each other’s orbits. The podcaster even made a cameo, via phone call, in one of Jelly’s recent YouTube videos, titled “The Divorce Vlog.” After teasing that he was about to reveal what happened in their marriage, Bunnie showed up. “Yeah, you thought we were going to hate each other,” Jelly joked. “Plot twist b**ches,” she added. They even exchanged “I love yous” at the end. Although comedian Nicole Arbour, who has famously feuded with the Grammy winner in the past, suggested it was all a big publicity stunt, the reality is that they are unlikely to fight it out in divorce court.

Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll are still planning to start a family together

Bunnie Xo’s marriage to Jelly Roll ends after ten years. But that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re about to become contenders for any of the next ones the messiest divorces in Hollywood history. According to the “Dumb Blonde” As hosts, they plan to remain in each other’s lives – as co-parents. “That’s my best friend, dude,” Bunnie claimed during an episode of her podcast in June 2026. “And y’all are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby,” she continued, before acknowledging that the surprising decision isn’t exactly a done deal. “We’ve been the most unconventional couple you’ve ever encountered,” Bunnie noted. While it’s great that they’re determined to peacefully navigate their next chapter, social media isn’t shouting it out.

One user even responded angrily with comments about how unrealistic their plans are. “I give it six months after a baby is born before she publicly rakes him over the coals,” they wrote Reddit. “And it will be justified. You want to have a child with a man you’re no longer with and think he’ll show up for you?’ Meanwhile, one second Redditor exclaimed the celebrity cliché about staying close after a breakup, arguing, “I hate it when celebrities divorce and they say ‘we still love each other and they’re my best friend and we’re going to be friends now and there’s so much love and respect between us’ OK? So why are you getting a divorce?” Of course, only time will tell whether things between Jelly and Bunnie remain as amicable as they currently are.
