The 57-year-old CEO of Big Baller Brand and former athlete confirmed the news in an appearance on N3on‘s livestream on Wednesday (June 24).
Lavar confirmed that Tine “She has decided to go her own way. That’s why you don’t see her here.”
“She wanted to do something else, which is fine with me. We had our run. We had our run. So even though she had the stroke and she got older, she would never say, ‘Oh man.’ She was always beautiful in my eyes, until you say I want to do something else,” he continued, referring to her 2017 stroke that caused aphasia.
“The fact that if you decide to go this way, I’ll go that way. That’s fine. It is what it is, man. Anytime you can find someone you can stay in love with for a long time… if you can witness that love, it’s good. I had that with her,” he added, confirming that he’s already dating someone new.
“And I found someone else, but it is what it is,” he said, adding that the streamer “didn’t have to worry about it” when he asked for more information.
The ex-couple married in 1997 and have three children: Lonzo28, LiAngelo27, and LaMelo24.
