Lacey Chabert is known as the Queen of Hallmark after starring in over 40 films for the network and now she’s starring in her first series for the company!
The beloved rom-com actress has the lead role Paris is always a good idea for the Hallmark+ streaming service and the first trailer has just been released.
The series is based on the bestseller by Jen McKinlay and will feature six episodes that will take fans around the world, with stops in France, Ireland and Spain. Also being the lead in the series Scott Michael Foster (Crazy ex-girlfriend), Rebecca Hanssen (The witcher), Henry Czerny (Ready or not), Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Coasts), Stephen Hagan (Love for the Irish), Julien Marlon Samani (An Alpine holiday) And Alejandro Albarracín (Dreaming of freedom).
What is Paris is always a good idea about?
Career-driven nonprofit Chelsea Martin (Chabert) travels to Paris to land a major donor and is shocked when her confident rival-turned-ally, Jason Knightly (Feeding) is sent to join her. While in Paris, she receives an unexpected and heartfelt message from her late mother – and a nudge from her father (Czerny) and her sister (Hanssen) – sends her on an unexpected journey to reconnect with the three past loves she once left behind in Europe. From the rolling hills of Ireland to the magic of Paris and the sun-drenched vineyards of Spain, Chelsea follows in ancient footsteps and discovers that sometimes moving forward means looking back first.
The first two episodes of the limited series will debut on Thursday, July 30 on Hallmark+, followed by a new episode every Thursday through August 27.
