Vice President of the United States JD Vance joke has given his wife, Usha Vancea surprising nickname after the latter posted rreceipt for her maternity dress on social media. The Republican politician praised his partner’s ingenuity before saying she should be in charge of the federal budget by giving her an unexpected title.
JD Vance reacts to Usha’s dress receipt amid drama
On June 25, the former Ohio senator took to social media to share a surprise moniker for his wife after she bought a maternity dress for less than 20% of its original value.
“She bought a $50 dress for $8.75. America: Meet Your Next Director of the Federal Budget!” JD Vance signed his X (formerly Twitter) profile while replying to his better half’s posts.
JD Vance’s response comes after his wife, Usha Vance, who is currently pregnant with the couple’s fourth child, fired back at a New York Times report claiming that her maternity dress had a deeper political meaning. She actually donned the outfit during a Father’s Day episode of her YouTube series, Story time with the other ladywhere the deputy chairman was also present.
“For an administration that has such an intuitive and strategic understanding of the power of aesthetics that an unspoken dress code in which men dress in the image of the president has evolved has also become telling,” the report read.
Consequently, JD Vance’s wife hit back at the medium with a X posts of her own, in which she also attached the actual price of her maternity dress.
“Now that we know the political significance of my $8.75 coral maternity dress from Old Navy, we can’t wait to hear what the New York Times has to say about my elastic waistband pants and compression socks! In the meantime, enjoy my maternity fashion (or lack thereof) and a good story with your kids on Storysha Vance with the other lady without a lady,”.
