Months after their highly publicized breakup, the former couple is trending again after the R&B singer’s latest interview sent the mother of his child into a frenzy, revealing that she ignored her family’s explicit warnings not to pursue a relationship with the self-proclaimed king of R&BeEeEeE.
Deiondra’s social media firestorm started after Jacquees came into contact with popular streamer Jordyn Lucas. According to The Shadow Roomduring the livestream, the singer walked down memory lane to unpack his dating history, specifically addressing his long-running love triangles involving artists Dej Loaf and his rapper ex-girlfriend of five years Dreezy.
Reflecting on how his relationship with Dreezy ended, Jacquees confessed that he still had feelings for her when he abruptly entered into a new relationship with Deiondra. He noted that while he desperately wanted a son and a family, he acted far too quickly, calling the public overlap and the ending of his previous chapter “a bit sloppy.”
As excerpts of the interview began to circulate, the public admission that she was essentially a hasty replacement did not sit well with the mother of his child. When Deiondra’s posts started racking up millions of views, netizens immediately urged her to protect her peace and distance herself from the keyboard. However, the most talked-about voice to come into the chat was none other than her father, the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders.
The Hall of Famer has a long history of trying to keep his daughter away from public relations drama. When Deiondra fired off a message saying, “I can’t wait for my son to grow up to know and see the truth for himself,” her father immediately quoted and tweeted the message, “Lawd Lawd Lawd.”
