Daryl Sabara has announced that his estranged father, Roland SabaraHas passed away.
The 34-year-old died on Friday (June 19) Spy Kids the actor took Instagram To share a short and touching tribute to his late father.
“My dad, Roland Sabara, passed away last night,” darryl Wrote along with a selfie roland. “We only saw each other twice, and I will always cherish those memories.”

“I grew up without a father – he left when I was a year old,” darryl Said. “So growing up I didn’t have that traditional role model and for me, especially as I’m about to become a father of two boys, I think it was a blessing in some ways. I’ve been able to have that relationship for me and my sons.”
He further added, “My mother was basically my mother and father and she did her best.” “But what I’m learning in my 30s, in therapy and doing my own healing, is that our parents subconsciously imprint on us. So right now, I’m just figuring out the parts of me that I love and want to teach my kids, and the parts of me that I’m not sure about.”

“When Riley turned one, I was kind of devastated because I had outgrown the amount of time my dad spent with me,” he said. “I can’t imagine ever leaving my son.”
