With Spencer Pratt out, here are the final odds in LA’s mayoral race.
According to a Polymarket poll, front-runner and incumbent Karen Bass has a 61% chance of winning the race. Meanwhile, city councilor and progressive Democrat Nithya Raman is significantly behind, with a 38% chance.
Although technically out of the race, Pratt is in third place with a 1% chance.
Pratt was eliminated from the race in second place earlier this week. Bass ultimately received 34.3% of the vote, while Raman held 28.5%. Pratt finished third with 25.8%.
Since none of the candidates received more than 50% of the votes, the top two face off against each other. The mayoral elections will take place in the autumn.
Meanwhile, Pratt has not officially conceded the race. Instead, he posted a cryptic post featuring only a duck in a body of water.
He too responded to Jimmy Kimmel, who rented him a U-Haul after he said he would leave town if he lost the election.
“Jimmy Kimmel, I think you missed the part of the story that I don’t need a U-Haul,” he wrote. “I have nothing left to pack.”
Pratt also shared a video of his home, completely destroyed in the 2025 Palisades wildfires. He has repeatedly stated that the experience led him to enter politics. He announced his mayoral campaign in early 2026 and has consistently blamed Bass and other city officials for the wildfires.
While vowing to leave LA if the mayoral race doesn’t go in his favor, Pratt said, “I’ll take that money from (Governor Gavin) Newsom State Park and the LADWP, and I’ll go find somewhere where my kids don’t have to see naked zombies and I can have the last American dream somewhere.”
“I won’t rebuild with these people in charge. Because where would I put money in?” he noted.
Although he is a registered Republican, Pratt entered the mayoral race as an independent. Instead of accepting Raman’s “MAGA Republican” label, the former reality TV star compared himself to former President Barack Obama.
“I represent all of Los Angeles,” he previously stated. “I don’t represent a party. I don’t have a campaign manager. I don’t have any campaign advisors. There’s no political party that supports me.”
