One insider shared:
“Scott is the definition of a great father. He has spent his entire adult life protecting Taylor while giving her the freedom to become the biggest star in the world. He is always there, but never in the spotlight.”

Friends are said to describe Scott as the ultimate businessman, even though he has a big heart. Another source said:
“He’s a fist in a kid glove. Polite, charming and incredibly warm – but when it comes to protecting his daughter and her business interests, no one is sharper.”
It’s not wrong that he pays attention to the singer! Even if Travis is her one true love, she has a HUGE fortune to protect — reportedly worth an estimated $1.6 billion, per outlet, while the N.F.L star is valued at approximately $120 million. (Variety reports that Taylor is now the richest female musician in history with a net worth of $2 billion!) A confidant explained:

And fortunately the Kansas City Chiefs star fully understands the need for a legal contract:

I love that this didn’t cause any drama! It shows that he is in a relationship for the right reasons!
As for why it’s so important to have Scott be part of this legal work, the insider added:

The last thing anyone wants is for Taylor to endanger her entire life. Nowadays, prenuptial agreements are so common. It would be much more shocking if they didn’t sign one!
