
Original “Saturday Night Live” star Garrett Morris, 89, went viral after attending the Broadway show “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” starring his friend Taraji P. Henson.
The 55-year-old actress was featured in this comic instagram carousel on Tuesday, where viewers could see a large bulge in his pants.
Henson and Morris posed while standing next to each other while Morris leaned against his walker.
“Uncle Junior’s got that pocket change,” one person wrote, in reference to Morris’ character, Uncle Junior, on “The Jamie Foxx Show.”
“I wasn’t trying to make Stan look like that,” another social media user quipped, referring to the actor’s role in “Martin.”
Whoopi Goldberg, Angela Bassett and Anthony Mackie were also featured in the post, but fans were so distracted by the “Cooley High” star that they couldn’t comment on the other A-listers in attendance.
The “Empire” alumnus eventually fired the shot. However, that didn’t stop the comedian from responding to the online conversation.
“It seems I’ve caused quite a stir because of a recent photo where it looks like I have a baby boa constrictor between my legs,” Morris said. said in an Instagram video.
He teased, “Now, I don’t mind perpetuating these stereotypes typically given to black men. But ladies and gentlemen, I’m more than a body. I’m also a brain.”
The actor immediately urged his followers to buy a copy of his upcoming book, “Ain’t That a Bitch.”
“That’s what I thought when I saw the picture of me and Taraji Henson,” Morris joked.
He said, “Look, I’ve had (pictures taken) with Emmy winners, Oscar winners, Tony winners and I never thought I’d get this far with my penis.”
The funnyman then asked his fans for a serious “favor.”
“I want you to vote, okay?” Morris encouraged the audience. “I was here during that Civil Rights Movement. I actually saw Martin Luther King preach about fighting for our rights… Vote and buy my book!”
Morris was a founding member of “Saturday Night Live” from 1975 to 1980.
He served as the sketch comedy show’s first black cast member.
Throughout the decades, Morris has appeared in a series of hit television shows, including “Married… with Children,” “Shameless,” “Psych” and “Scandal.”
He was a regular cast member of “The Jamie Foxx Show”, starring in 100 episodes from 1996 to 2000.
Morris also had a lead role in “2 Broke Girls”, appearing in 138 episodes from 2011 to 2017.
