Gia Giudice is calling out her “annoying” “Next Gen NYC” co-star Ava Dash for accusing her mother Teresa Giudice of unfollowing her on social media.
“It came out of nowhere and it just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought it was all very calculated because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other,” Gia, 25, told ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy about Dash’s accusation.
While Murphy speculated that Dash, 26, may have dismissed the claim against Teresa to divert attention from potential headlines about her family has reported money problemsGia said she believes “viewers will eventually see a little bit of that in her.”
“She is very conscious of her image and how she would like to be perceived. Obviously no one likes bad press or bad attention. But unfortunately that comes with the territory,” Gia continued.
Despite Dash’s alleged feud with Gia’s mother, the “Casual Chaos” podcast host added that she would “never” deny her co-star’s beauty, telling Real and Murphy, “You can be mean and still be beautiful.”
Dash, 26, first made the accusation about the 54-year-old “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star in a Season 1 episode of the Bravo series, which premiered last June. The incident led to tension between her and Gia, causing their friend group to fall apart.
Gia last addressed Dash’s comments during her July 2025 appearance Nick Viall’s ‘Viall Files’ podcast.
“Do you really think she could just sit there and take the time to do that? I just know my mom and she barely knows how to film her cameos properly,” Gia said at the time. “She’s not tech savvy in any way, so when Ava said that, I was like, ‘Girl, you’re just lying. I know my mom and she wouldn’t really care to unfollow you.'”
In her ‘Virtual Reali-Tea’ interview, Gia addressed the division among this upcoming season’s cast members, saying she thinks the drama stems from the breakup of her co-stars Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy.
“So we obviously support Ariana and are really here for her. Obviously certain people had an opinion about their breakup. They’re not going to buddy up to her and mess with her trying to say the breakup was fake,” she explained.
“I know Ariana. She is my best friend. Never felt, never thought,” Gia said in defense of her friend. “It was really a time when they both needed some space. It became too comfortable and you have to be uncomfortable sometimes in order to grow.”
However, she noted that the estranged couple is “taking their time” to figure out their relationship, but “they haven’t made it official yet.”
“I think that definitely has something to do with the division, but also… there was also a strange energy and attitude given to some of us at press time last year during Season 1 of ‘Next Gen’,” Gia added.
“There was just always this weird energy that some of us got, and we never did anything,” she added. “So it was like, let’s see how this goes.”
In addition to Gia and Dash, Biermann and McLeroy, returning cast members for “Next Gen NYC” include Riley Burruss, Emira D’Spain, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Charlie Zakkour and Shai Fruchter.
They are joined by new signings Rowan Henchy, Liam Obergfoll and Kendall White.
Season 2 of Next Gen NYC premieres June 24 at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo.
