Kyle Cooke speaks out about photos circulating of him and ex Amanda Batula this week.
The Summer house And In the city were stars photographed smiling when leaving the In the city season one reunion on Thursday (June 11) in New York City, and the photos have sparked quite a few conversations online.
Now, Kyle took to his Instagram story on Saturday morning (June 13), the day after the photos came out, to address the conversations surrounding it and reveal what happened when the photos were taken.
“Okay, some of you are wearing tinfoil hats, so I’m going to comment on the photo of me and Amanda laughing and smiling as we walk out the door. In the city reunion,” the reality star said. “It was a pretty chaotic, action-packed reunion for a season 1 show, and you guys have a lot to look forward to, not just in the season but the reunion as well.”
“Amanda sat on the hot seat, and she opened up a lot more than I would say she did Summer house,” Kyle continued. “I was on the hot seat, a lot of people were on the hot seat and we all decided to have a drink together. Group therapy after you, leave it all out there.”
“Amanda and I walked into the elevator, walked out the door and just kind of laughed, like, ‘Can you imagine there’s a photographer capturing us walking out together?'” he explained. “And then, boom, that’s exactly what happened. That makes us laugh even harder, and yeah, that’s it, guys. That was it, my God.”
Kyle And Amanda‘S Summer house The season ten reunion just wrapped this past week, but there are still episodes of the spinoff In the city still airing before the reunion.
In the city picked up after the former couple along with Lindsay Hubbard and their friends, into the fall after filming their regular lives outside the Hamptons, right after the final season of Summer house.
