Craig Revel Horwood has revealed how his hatred of one of his pets led to an early clash with his partner strictly come dance Judge Anton du Beke admitted he was “furious” after being made to wait. Anton commented: “I’m going to tell you about the thing that drives you crazy, drives you crazy. Drives you crazy. I know, I know exactly what it is – being late.”
Craig confirmed that the matter had sparked one of his first controversies, emphasizing that timekeeping is something he values highly.
“Okay, now this is where our biggest argument would be. And this is where our first argument was actually, because for me friendship went out the window. If I’m sitting in the car waiting for you, I’ll go. I’ll wait five minutes and I’ll go, darling,” he said.
Recalling the incident, Craig described how his irritation grew while waiting for Anton, who was stopping to greet fans, according to the report. express.
“When I was in that car, I was getting angry because you were there signing autographs, saying ‘Oh yes, darling’, doing all this stuff. And I thought, if you want to sign autographs, come half an hour early. And I fucked you right back. You’ve never done that since.”
Anton acknowledged that the work described had worked. “She’s gone mad, she’s gone mad!” He joked.
“So, from that point on, now I always get into the car before him.”
The playful banter followed Anton’s candid discussion about home life and the demands of school breaks during the first installment of his new podcast.
Craig questioned his fellow presenter about what “quiet decisions” he had been making recently, leading Anton to share his experiences of a busy week of caring for his children.
He admitted, “It’s been quite a long week. I’ve been doing half-talk with the kids. Do you know, I actually quite like it when they’re at school. It’s a little quieter. It’s a little easier for me when they’re at school.”
Anton, 53, is the father of nine-year-old twins George and Henrietta with his wife Hannah.
