This year’s line-up love island Contestants claim a wide range of salaries apart from the show.

The latest challenge continues ITV’s reality dating series Saw conversations among islanders about jobs and sparking income. Specifically, Shawn Fitzgerald and Lola Dean were unsure whether they were unanimous on how important money is to them in a partner and relationship.

So what does each islander do about it? staying away from the show? And how much do they expect to earn in their line of work? We’ve taken a look at each of their roles and average earnings to find out what you need to know.

Lorenzo Alessi – Business Owner, £40,000 – £50,000

According to estimates and online reports, Lorenzo is considered to be the highest earner away from the show due to his business interests, although what exactly they are is not known.

Jasmine Muller – Fashion Business Owner, £33,000 – £46,000

According to her Instagram account, she is the co-founder of the fashion line Women. Jasmine also has a lot of followers online and her income can increase from her social media posts.

Robin Langton – Quantity Surveyor, £45,000

Robin is a Quantity Surveyor and if she is experienced her estimated salary can be £43,000 – £45,000.

Lola Deal – Spy, £45,000

In line with the standard UK police pay scale for detective constables, Lola’s salary is likely between £33,000 and £45,000 a year.

Priya Jaswal – Business Development Manager, £42,000

Indeed claims the average salary for a business development manager in the UK is just over £42,000. However those in entry level roles can start earning £27,000.

Samraj Toor – Model, £40,000

Samraj has said that he helps out in his family restaurant whenever he is at home. He did not confirm whether he takes a salary there, but he probably doesn’t need to as his modeling career is expected to bring in around £40,000.

Sam Workman – Electrician, £34,000

Sam has talked about being an electrician during his time in the villa, confirming that he started out as an apprentice. A trade is always in demand and Sam has an estimated salary of £34,000.

Kaavan Murphy – Electrician, £34,000

Like Sam, Kaavan can expect to earn roughly the same amount. However he is a few years younger than Sam, so can give less command due to his experience level.

Angelista Gunda – Nurse, £33,000

Angelista is a nurse and if she works within the NHS, her salary will depend on her level of qualification and the pay band she finds herself in. Assuming she is a qualified nurse, she could earn between £29,000 and £33,000.

Ellie Chadwick – Real Estate Videographer, £31,000

Ellie has said that she works as both a real estate and social media manager.

Tommy Murphy – builder, £32,000

His income will likely vary widely, depending on whether he is self-employed or not. The average salary for a builder in the UK is £32,000 to £40,000.

Ope Sowande – West-end performer, approx. £30,000

According to the Society of London Theater (SOLT) and UK theater agreements, actors on the West End typically earn a basic salary of around £750 to £950 per week. This means he could earn at least £30,000.

Aidan Murphy – Property Broker, £28,000

Aidan works in the property sector which is another venture in which income levels can often vary depending on the type of deals done. Earnings largely depend on performance, location and property.

Victoria Onanussi – Personal Assistant, £28,000

According to the Gov.UK website, PAs can earn anywhere between £28,000 to £60,000.

Shaun Fitzgerald – Primary school teacher, £25,000

According to Glass Door, teachers in Ireland earn a basic salary of around €30,000, or around £25,000. Although he also plays Gaelic football, he does not make any money from it as he is an amateur. However, he or she may receive a grant to cover some expenses such as travel.

Simba Kudiyiwa – Neurological Rehabilitation Assistant, £24,000

Like Angelista, Simba’s job depends on location, experience and employer. That could bring in a salary or average hourly wage of £12 to £17.

Yasmin Hadlow – Recruitment Consultant, £22,000

UK base salaries range from £22,000 to £28,000 on average. Depending on the company, the role may offer commissions or bonuses based on performance which will increase their salary.

Micah Harris – Student, £20,000

Despite being a student, Mika was able to finance her studies through school, earning anywhere from £20,000 to £30,000 depending on the post and type of partnership, away from her studies.

George Knight – footballer, £20,800

Players’ salaries can vary significantly between clubs and leagues. Dorking League players typically earn between £400 and £1,000 per week. This will be between £20,800 and £52,000 per year. However, his contract expired this summer.
