Exclusive: Gabby Allen reveals behind-the-scenes secrets, including early-morning filming

Gabby Allen has been watching Love Island for almost ten years After making his debut in the series – although he has far more behind-the-scenes knowledge than most viewers.
The 34-year-old TV personality has appeared in several hit shows since she burst onto the scene in 2017. Her latest appearance was on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating, which took place after her win. Celebrity SAS: He who dares wins.
talkative He returned to ITV last year for Love Island: All Stars Season 2, emerging victorious alongside former partner Casey O’Gorman.
Having experienced both the Majorcan and South African locations with two seasons under her belt, Gaby appreciates the dedication of the islanders in creating captivating television.
In conversation with the Daily Record, he revealed that contestants sometimes get up in the early hours to record segments that take up only five minutes of broadcast.
He explained: “Dumping or recoupling always takes hours,” adding, “You literally wake up at 4 in the morning, especially if it’s a public (vote) because they have to get all the votes.”
Despite the lengthy construction, the actual dumping unfolds inside the villa just as quickly as it appears on television. According to the report, the emotional reactions elicited are completely genuine Ok!.
Gabby elaborated: “When people are released after only being there a day or two, and people are crying and you see the public’s reactions of ‘Why are they only crying for two days?’ (That’s because) you build such strong relationships with people there so quickly.”
She continued: “I always have my own opinion a little bit about it because I say ‘No, these people really care about each other and it’s really hard to send someone home. Because you also know you’ve been waiting for weeks to go into (the villa) and no one wants to go home.’
Gabby spoke with us to highlight Scoliosis Awareness Month, a medical condition she was diagnosed with when she was just 12 years old.
Scoliosis involves an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine, which can be addressed through surgical intervention.
The TV personality had surgery on her spine when she was a teenager, which left a noticeable scar on her back. The visibility of this scar became a source of self-consciousness for Gabby, especially during her formative years as she matured.
However, now, she displays it with confidence and aims to encourage others to feel equally comfortable in revealing their own surgical scars.
