Love Island bombshell reveals co-star she probably won’t work with again after the show
Thrown away Love Island star Tommy Murphy has admitted there may be friction between him and his ITV co-star.
The 28-year-old builder made a rocky entry into the villa, but quickly formed strong relationships. He initially paired up with fan favorite Ellie Chadwick, but things turned heads during an unexpected sleepover villa twist.
He was one of four islanders who were summoned to an isolated location for a spicy slumber party with new bombs, Including dancer Hayley Brown.
Although Halle initially had her eyes on Simba Kudiwa, she later shared a kiss with Tommy – following his kiss with Ellie. Tommy also faced criticism for trying to quietly kiss three girls within the same 24 hours.
The situation turned sour with the arrival of the new couple Chosen as one of the least compatible pairings in the villaWith Chidi Ogandu and Micah Harris.
The islanders were then given the power to save their favorite co-star from the line-up, leaving Chidi and Halle with the fewest votes and therefore being evicted from the villa.
Newcastle lad Tommy believes the whole incident has possibly caused some tension between him and Hayley. Speaking after his exit on Thursday (June 25), he confessed: “I think there might be a bit of friction between us, maybe on her part. I think she feels I’m responsible for her time being down.”
Tommy thinks that “bad blood” might prevent the villa’s exes from reuniting in the real world.
Although the decision to leave Halle was up to the islanders, it was Tommy’s behavior towards his former partner Ellie that landed them in the bottom two couples in the first place.
Despite their difficult time together, Tommy also shared positive things about his former ITV partner. “When the girls came in from the sleepover, Hale was honestly one of the nicest girls there, she said bad things,” he explained.
The reality star added: “When she spoke to you, she was very close, very flirty, had a lot of energy. The kiss wasn’t planned – I think I was eating crisps in the kitchen at first! The connection with Halle came naturally, I wasn’t expecting it if I’m honest, but once we met, I gave it a really good go.
“Time flew by, she really was a nice girl, she’s a credit to herself and a really nice person. I enjoyed the short time I spent with Halle, I almost wished I had never said the whole thing! Yes, on paper she wasn’t my ideal type, but she was so refreshing! Every conversation she had, she took me by surprise.”
tommy’s own exit This came after Ellie and Lorenzo were given the power to evict two islanders who were left unprotected following a public vote.
